wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

love is caused by two people meeting, however fleetingly, and one or both of those people forming a bond!!

Love is letting someone get close enough to hurt you. Only those you truly love can truly hurt you!!!

I always have contemplated the existence of love, and always have taken psychological measures to prevent any such thing from happening to me, but it seems that I may have failed. Now I'm wondering what the difference is between a crush and love?

Once I tell you my age you're all going to dismiss my feelings as just a stupid crush, and I've known her for two or three months, although, I've only gotten to see her once a week in our class.

a few times once a week? still a crush definitly! youll know youre in love when you can spend more time with that person and get to know their quirks and wheather you can deal with them or not. Usually a crush dies when things that you dont like make you think better of that person or/and you see another girl and lose track of the one you think you like at the moment

I did only get to see her once a week, but I have spoken to her and spent a little bit of time with her outside of class. Enough time to know that I do like her, but I'm not sure to what extent and I can't really explain why to well either. F.Y.I I'm talking about college and not high school.

There are different types of love...there's familial love, erotic love, romantic love, and puppy love.
Familial love is natural affection felt between members of a group bound by common ancestry or blood ties, or through friendship and care
Erotic love focuses on sexual desrie.
Romantic love is an intimate and sexual relationship between two people.
Puppy love is an informal term for feelings of love particularly between young people during adolesence, so-called for its resemblance to the adoring, worshipful affection that may be felt by a puppy.

you're making me feel like trash by telling me that it's just a meaningless crush. What I'm trying to do is analyze this more, so that I can better understand it to keep a better grip on my emotions.

What's the difference between a crush and true love?
Crushes usually occur when you first meet someone and feel a special connection. Most are based on sexual chemistry and are accompanied by a rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms and, for an unfortunate few, drooling. A crush has more to do with lust and infatuation than with enduring love. It could stem from both a physical and a mental attraction.

The main difference between crushes and love is that crushes often happen when there is little chance of forming a relationship. These types of crushes are a safe way to explore your feelings for someone who you may think is unattainable. But sometimes the strongest variety of crushes occurs when the person is not completely outside of one's reach. These can closely resemble love, and if your feelings don't fizzle after you've snagged the object of your crush, they can lead to love.
crush, love or lust

I never said meaningless, but I really think its way to early to say love at this point. I dont mean to belittle what youre feeling or dismiss it. I just dont think youve known her long enough or spent enough time with her yet. Feelings of finding someone new and really liking them can be very intense and totally great but what you need to find out is can they continue and withstand time and lifes drama then at that point you can call it love.
