I love a lot of different kinds of movies, so don't think I ONLY watch these, but this is what I want to watch lately.

I have watched Mansfield Park, Jane Eyre, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey...and some others I can't think of.

What are some like this? I know Cranford?? is one. And so is Little Doet??? by Dickens - I don't remember the spelling or what it was.

SO tell me some more! I'm out.

There have been a few Wuthering Heights movies and Great Expectations, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, The Count of Monte Cristo etc

Do you get any British period dramas shown over there? Cos if you do, I think most Regency/Victorian novels have been made into a drama now and there are a few which is just Victorian-esque porn to be honest.

Have you seen Wuthering Heights? There have been loads of films, some good, some not so good. There was a good adaptation on ITV a while ago.

BBC did a good version of Tess of the D'Urbervilles a while back. I'd definitely recommend it.

I think there was also a movie of Anna Karenina.
