What's your views on the matter? Personally, whether I'm driving or a passenger, or even in my bedroom, I can't stand music that is loud enough to drive the wax out of my ears. I hate it when I'm in a car, trying to talk, and every other word I have to say is, "What?!". It's especially nerve-racking when I'm trying to drive, and my friends crank up the radio louder than a fucking Fighter Jet taking off. It's like I have the urge to scream, "Damnit! Either turn that shit down, or I'll slam this car into that wall!"

Opinions?

I have my moods where I love loud music...but like you said, when your trying to have a conversation, it doesnt work very well when the music is too loud though. But when Im in a bad mood, loud music always seems to help me cheer up. :)

#1 clean your ears. Hehe
And I essentially agree. Too loud is dangerous because you can't hear traffic. But an open highway, and no one around, and I'm alone...it's on.

They are clean!

I can stand loud music, for instance in a movie theater, in a car(When I CHOOSE the volume, not friends), when I'm outside, or if I'm at a party, things like that. But as I said, if I'm driving, and I can't hear my own thoughts or breathing, there's a problem.

You know what I hate, some songs have a siren as part of the music..and I sometimes have to look around trying to find the emergency vehicle. I hate that.

Depends what the music is and why the're playing it loud. Boy racers trying to pose outside Mcdonalds by playing shit with their windows rolled down in the middle of winter just look like twats for instance!

Dude, I never said I hated loud music and driving, I just said if I can't hear myself think, or if I'm driving and can't focus, it's too loud. Like Audra said, some music, whatever the circumstances, must be loud. Such as Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry :D But sometimes there is a limit.

I'll play my music loud when I feel the need to.

Most of the time it actually makes me more alert. I have to pay attention to my mirrors, the road and my radar detector more closely.
