Girl....I swear your not the only one! Do you have anyone who can watch her for a day or even a couple of hours so you can catch a catnap and get a few chores done? I know back when my kiddos were still babies....thats what I ended up having to do. Its hard. Being a mommy is a full time job. You dont ever get a "lunch break" and you dont get paid. Even though being a mommy to a beautiful little girl like yours is rewarding. :)

Maybe you can salvage your sanity by looking at it as a lot of little jobs instead of one big one. This may seem trivial, but when you feel overwhelmed, step back and stop looking at the big picture. Take a minute and write down all the things you want to get accomplished. Like; Wash the dishes, vacuum the living room, put the dishes away, pick-up the bedroom, etc... Then as you get 10 minutes here and there, complete a task and cross it off the list with a big red marker. It puts you one step closer to your goal. Plus the big red line is an added reward, a feeling of accomplishment.

I know at work, there are weeks where I have sooo much to do, I get overwhelmed. I start to feel like I can't handle it and I get very frustrated. When I feel like this, I tend to get nothing done at all, I have no real direction. I found that making this quick list and crossing off the items, you get your tasks done quicker and it doesn't seem like much work at all since all of the items on that list never take more than 10 minutes to complete. By the end of the week, the page is nothing more than big red lines. It makes you feel good as you finish what you needed to do.

Just a thought... :dunno:

Don't forget the BIG RED marker. It's a psychological boost to see it crossed off.

To be frank I don't have children and I know nothing of trying to manage a house and raise a child/children (all who do this have my admiration), but Tim handed out some very sage advice.

I hope you are able to find some time to yourself...it is important that you are looked after as well...more important than housework, that'll still be there the next day.

All the best. :) *hug* (if you don't mind one from a stranger)

It can be very hard in the first few months with a new baby... you will get on top of it eventually.

Remember, your child will never be as young as they are today, you will never recapture that time... housework can wait. ;)

thank you all for your advice ...and Eridanus i def. dont mind hugs from a stranger :) ...i know this time with her is precious which is why i dont go crazy when shes awake to get it clean...which just leaves me time when shes sleeping to do it...that changes day by day... im def. gonn do the red marker thing already started it today...it felt great

so thanks again for all your help and understanding :) i feel a little less crazy now :D
