Yes, very shocked. So was I... I just stood there like a deer in headlights after I opened the box. I'll get an actual picture of her ring tonight so you all can see it.

Nope, couldn't wait. I wanted to, but I asked her father for permission and he said yes, but I was afraid that he might spill the beans early be mistake since he was so excited. So I decided to safeguard myself and ask early.
