I just noticed someone in this forum thought my signature lead to google adsense which it does NOT.
But that bothers me that this person without checking out the facts just made an assumption that I was linking people directly to my google adsense account to make money and went out of his way to preach to me saying "you should be more professional...." really?
I'm not the only one who has a signature that links to a site. But I don't know any of us who links it to googlesense. I have mine linked to my blog. What's wrong with having a signature with link to a blog?
Tip:
Sometimes you come across on a site a link to some page or other. If you want to know where the link is going without clicking, it's simple.
Point your mouse over the link but don't click. Down at bottom, in your browser's status bar, shows you where the link is going. Sometimes it will not tell you and will say "javascript:" this means that when you click the javascript will generate a link to send you. In case like that it's a bit tougher to know.
There's a reason why it's called "Status bar" geez. Am I the only one who's been on the internet since the 90s?
Also, in firefox, there's an extension called "Redirect Cleaner" it cleans target urls in webpages that have links like http://www.url.com?redirect=http://www.url#2.com and cleans it to "http://www.url#2.com"http://www.url2.com
