I had an extremely long night at work. We had a suicidal gsw, rape, chase, ect ect ect..
it was loco! Anyways, I just got back from the gym.. ALL my muscles are sore.. oh and i realized that its way too cold for austin to walk to school, so I am gonna go pick him up and drive him. *(my aunt is watching him while I work at night and she walks him to school.)

That does sound exciting to me! Wow, I mean. I have remorse for anyone who was a victim in either of the situations. But when compared to my job. That would be pretty invigorating.

I think like with any job it would get old after a while.

I could imagine getting excited with the adrenaline going while keeping officers in touch during a chase, but after a while it'd be like;

"Oh, another murder... oh another domestic disturbance.

*yawn*

Is it time to go home yet?"

Yeah, it is pretty much like that James for those in that profession - friends of mine in that line of work say you mostly just deal with it as every day norm.

They say they do get the occasional shocker though - then it's tough for them.
