Delivery people don't have the common sense to think that maybe there are a set of stairs behind the bottom door especial when they see a building with 2 front doors... I went outside today and noticed a note stuck to my door. Some stuff I'd order off Amazon came FedEx (Blech) and they must of not come upstairs because I would of heard them knock. Apparently I have to sign for the stuff I ordered...

Lame...
*this is why everyone should go with UPS instead of FedUp*

Oh God I agree. I live on the ground floor, there are 3 doors to our set of flats and all the delivery people drop the parcels off with me (our neighbours work a lot and I don't mind looking after the parcels) but then the delivery people just stick a note on the second door, that usually blows away with the wind. I've told them I didn't know the code and was worried about a scrap of paper on the door blowing away and they've reassured me they'll contact the person and tell them where the parcel is BUT THEY DON'T. I'm then left with a parcel and trying to find when they person will be home to deliver it.

Thankfully, the woman whose parcels I normally get has now told me the code to the second door so now I can nip in and leave a note saying that I have the parcel and she'll get it when she gets home.

I think amazon deliveries are made by the normal post guy here. Once I came home and a neighbour had had a delivery from amazon, the package didn't fit through the letter box and the person obviously wasn't home. The package was left sitting on the step outside the front door, on the street...

Anyone could have picked it up!!

its all about convenience, we are lucky that FedEx and UPS distribution centers are close by so in case we do have something that we can just drive there....but then again there was the time the wife bought a punching bag and it came through UPS and the box was shredded...looked like it went through a shredder....

I remember why I don't buy stuff online much. I hear them this afternoon. I got my package. I'd won a $50 dollar gift certificate via a Facebook page contest. I bought a pair of jeans and a crewneck sweatshirt that has yet to arrive. I wear a size 34 waist. The jeans I bought were 34 but they were small... :( I have to lose more weigh to get into them. Which is just incentive for me to get on the ball.
