This movie rocked. Just got back from watching the fourth installment of Die Hard and let me tell you, it doesn't let you down. This was by far the best sequel of the summer. Spiderman 3 sucked and Pirates 3 sucked. The worst part of this movie was the previews.

If you didn't like it, you can go Die Hard! Yippee Cayay MF!

that's good to hear, everyone said that this movie would be bad and the others that you mentioned would be good. And yes, I thought spiderman and pirates were kind of bad as well.

It was a pleasant experience to be sure. I figured it might be bad, because how could an older Bruce play this action friendly movie? He pulled it off pretty well. I think the movie was comically helped out a lot by Justin Long who has all of the funny lines. They weren't cheesy either. I think what made this movie decent was the fact that the script was good and the action sequences were right on par for a Die Hard film.

i cannot say if any of those movies are good or not because i have not seen any of them

Then quit whoring up my thread! nOOb!

Come on, you really thought Spiderman 3 was good? What they did to Venom was a disgrace. The battle scene at the end made me feel like I was watching a made for TV movie.

Last night, my Wife, my Daughter and I saw Live Free or Die Hard. Great movie! Great action and it was funny, too. Justin Long did a great job of acting the geeky, funny, sorta innocent guy. Willis didn't look out of place at all. Action scenes were different than other action movie scenes I've seen.

Best movie I've seen in a long time.......it's that too much to say?! :)

I thought Spiderman 3 was GREAT, but it didn't seem to have as many action scenes in it as I would have liked. Some of it was dull boring yada yada.

I still need to go see Die Hard 4 and Transformers.

Transformers was awesome. Best special effects in a movie EVER! The fluid motion of the robots, the action scenes, everything. Nothing looked CGI, yet the whole thing was. And the girl in it was smoking hot.

I just saw Live Free or Die Hard today, kick ass movie! I highly suggest it to anyone considering it. I liked how they didn't say "fuck" every 5 seconds, like in the previous movie. Although I hated how they cut out "fucker' after the yippee ki yay line(The gunshot covers "fucker").

Definately the best of all 4. The one thing I saw, some times, the dialogue didn't match Justin Long's(Matt, the computer kid) mouth, but apparently, it's because Fox is going to release an Unrated/Rated R DVD version, so they filmed different versions.

I also liked how the Fox logo failed at the beginning :D

I can't believe they went with a PG-13 rating. I mean come on all the others were, why not this one?

Fox said it was something with wanting to let the kids have fun with this one, while still trying to keep up the bad-ass Die Hard feeling, which I feel they did. But I liked this one much better, they have counted and it's on IMDB, all 3 movies say "Fuck" upwards of 50 times.

Just seems too much for me. Like, in Die Hard With A Vengeance, some things like John McClane saying, "I've got a bad fucking headache!" over and over seem like overkill. When he says "fuck" every 5 seconds, it gets old.

But I hate how they did cut out the "Yippee ki ya motherfucker" at the end of this one with the gunshot.

Yeah I don't care about the absence of "fuck" as much as I do about the absence of yippe-kie-yay, motherfucker. It's classic Die Hard.

Also screw the whole kids having fun. All they want is to broaden the audience so they can make more money.
