I have been thinking recently (like, since about 30 minutes ago or so, right sophie?)...
Why does a society perpetuate a particular lifestyle, but dishonor the alternatives, especially in a society as one seen in the United States (sorry, it's pretty much the only society that I slightly understand, so it's pretty much the base of my thoughts on the matter) where the "right" to express oneself in a manner that is not harmful to another is "protected"?

and [protected] as the "right" is being contested, really, and protected, as in the contesting, there is plenty of room for interpretation of the writ words.
