One of my favorite classic house music artists hands down has to be Larry Heard. He was known as Mr. Fingers when he first started making music, and I think he currently goes by the name again. He wasn't the grandfather of house, but he was probably the second or third guy who really put house music out there. My favorite song from him has to be Can You Feel It, I also like Summertime Breeze too. In fact, I'm currently listening to Summertime breeze right now.
