Laptop won't charge...

My mom says she didn't do anything to my pc, but I left and it was working fine, and now it magially isn't working anymore. I came home and now it won't charge. Like if it's plugged in it will stay on, but instead of having the little plug symbol next to the power bar, it has an X. And if I unplug it, it instantly dies. And it won't charge more then 0 % how do I fix it?

is your battery clicked in all the way?

try removing the battery then reinstalling it

that happens to me. I had to push in the plug harder, and then it worked
