TOTALLY loving it!!! When I bought the tv I bought it thinking I'd never hook my laptop to the tv for anything so I didn't worry about it having the monitor connection.

Well as of late I've been using my laptop to watch alot of movies and was thinking I should totally figure something out to watch them on my tv.

THEN I realized my laptop has an HDMI port on it. WOOT! So I ordered an HDMI cable from newegg and I'm happy I did!

It rocks to only need to use one cable to do this and quality is great and of course since it's HDMI sound goes through the one cable. I didn't have to change a single setting for it.

YAY

SOOOOOOOOO of course me being a nerd I had to log into wow and see how well it looks and DAYUM haha. Only problem I have is I'm going to need to wear my glasses to read chats and such.

ANOTHER nice thing. Is I can now sit here and post on my laptop while the kids watch one of the movies I had on here...on the tv without either interfering with the other! YAY

That's pretty cool. I'm looking at a monitor now that is basically a T.V. It's got coax, HDMI (two I think), DVI, VGA, and one HD component input. 22" Samsung, I believe it was $340. I'd love to watch movies I "borrow" on a T.V. that easy.
