Melissa, I meant to quote your post too but forgot. Thank you :)

You're more than welcome to use it as your desktop, I can send you a link to the original (will be quite big at 42xx by 28xx) or just link to one that's slightly bigger than your desktop size so you can get it to stretch to fit. What would you prefer (and what's your desktop size) ?

You are welcome

I'd hang them all in my condo, but #2 & #6 are my fav.

Make a poll :D

I was thinking of that but thought it better not to in the end :) Thanks!

I like 2.
The clouds and beach foam compliment each other , makes a nice balance.

Thanks Poopa! It's one of the ones I'm leaning a little more towards.

You are welcome

Linky on your profile ;)

I had a chance to look at some of the submissions so far on the company intranet.

There's three categories "Landscape", "Animals" and "Lunchscape".

Voting begins Monday and voting closes Thursday but new pic submissions close Wednesday. It's going to be tough... there's misty forests, misty mornings, snowy landscapes, a shadowy shot of a boat across the Ganges (similar to my peak district shot - so that one is out). One of the best ones so far (my favourite) is a shot looking across Mount Bromo in Java from a distance.

There are no beach ones (yet) that I could see nor any like my Carding Mill Valley shot (last one with the little cottage and a guy and sheep walking along the path).

Animal shots feature bugs on leaves, close up of tiger faces (one apparently snoozing, head on a paw), orang-utan and what not. I'll post a couple that I'm thinking of for this category later.

:willy_nilly: is my mind at the moment with regards to a submission :)

You made a comment about the rule of thirds. I hate that rule..

sometimes i like it,sometimes i dont...which raises a question, who will be doing the judging?....if its management rules go out of the window anyway....something to be concious of i suppose
