Those with kids or have friends or family with kids, has this ever happened to you?:

In the fall of 2002, when my daughter was 4 years old, she decided to leave the house while I was taking a shower. Of course I panicked after I got out of the shower and couldn't find her anywhere!

But I made one phone call and my freak-outness disappeared...

I called my Mom's house and my daughter was over there.

Seems my daughter wanted to see her Grandma and Grandpa, (who live a few houses down in our court), so she unlocked the deadbolt and the doorknob lock and went walking on down the street, (away from the exit from the court).

What was funny about it, (probably the only thing that was funny!), was that my daughter took my cell phone with her and was talking to her Grandma the whole time she was walking to her house! Thank God she was born with common sense! :)

When my oldest was younger he used to sleepwalk. First time I heard noises in the kitchen and went down. There he was making a milkshake and I caught him just before he was about to stick a spoon in the blender to get the icecream mixed up. From there it was walking around the house, trying to get out the front door. Very scary thing, had to put a lock up in the corner of the door were he couldnt reach it.
