I just looked at a couple of the debated items. One was a claim that President Obama is planning to use a United Nations treaty to take away legal firearms from gun owners in the US. I can't believe that you actually asked that question... you're damn right it's authoritarian. They have complete control over an entire aspect of our ability to travel through our own country.

You should know by now that I'm not a GOP conservative... I'm a fiscal conservative that pretty much doesn't like anyone that we have in office right now. I will support Republicans over Democrats in some situation because I consider them to be the lesser of the two evils. Or there are some GOPers that I actually will actively support, like my own congressman, or Meg Whitman when she ran for governor here in California. I pretty much vote third party most of the time though because both the Dems and GOP generally suck.

I'm pretty certain that our other ardent conservolibertarians around here feel the same way...
