I'm an outside tech. Our office manager (Kathy) decided she wanted to see how one of the systems is put together and what we do when we install it.

So... since we have a slow day here at work today, and I have no pressing jobs requiring my attention...

Guess who gets to sit in the office today and answer phones?

I hate this. I hate answering phones, If someone calls in with a question... I don't know! Today is going to friggen suck ass. So please, if I'm grumpy tonight after work - bear with me. On top of that, it's 55 degrees and it started raining sometime between 8 and 9...

What a shitty Friday this is going to be.

I just finished stuffing invoices in envelopes. I need to make these DESI Strips, but I have no clue which ones are 48 key phones, and which ones are 24 key phones.

Who's fault is that? well... it was my job from a previous day, and I don't remember.

Well, I just realized they're all generic anyway, so I can just make 17 48keys and 5 24keys. I should be good as long as I don't fugg em up... cause I have to type in Line 1-Line 8, and then 100-121 on every one of them... No such thing as "copy and paste desi" or anything SIMPLE like that...

stuff like that is never simple.

Case in point --> I was asked to figure out how many customers each store has in their system. Not their names addresses ect, but just a number. In our system, there's not an easy simple way to do that.
