Just got here, may be absentee for a while.

I just got here, you know, signed up. Now I'm probably going to be an absentee for a while.

Found out last night that my wife was having seven affairs at once. This morning, I said hey... what the hell? She got all bitchy as if she had any reason to be angry for her adultery, so I said... piss off.

She left, I'm not staying here... I mean, why would I want to keep living in a 4000 square foot house with just ME here? That's stupid.

So, I'm trying to figure out where to move to. As soon as I figure out where to, I'll be emptying my accounts (good thing I never let her have access to any of my accounts. It's just a thing, wasn't done for any particular reason other than that I just like to keep my financial accounts separate from hers or anyone else), packing up, and leaving.

Awesome stuff right there. Oh well, I'm almost never home anyways, I travel so freakin much for work. In the last year I think I put in 65,000 miles of travel which is more than twice around the globe if you walked a straight line.

Maybe I'll just pick up a dinky little place to crash at for the times I am not working here there and everywhere.

Yes, I travel on business a lot. We discussed that at length before we were (finally) married last year and she was clear that she understood and did not mind, would be faithful.

Her first affair was about six days after I had to leave for work the first time, which was seventeen days after our marriage.

Yeah, it sucks, but hey, glad I found out finally. I mean, really... what guy wants to pay through the nose for everything someone needs only to have them use those funds to break the most sacred institution we as a society have? Much better than living in ignorance, I think, or putting my head in the sand if I did know or merely suspected.

So, anyways, right now I'm researching costs of living per area, rental or home purchase costs, talking with my banker about selling the home I bought very very recently or just transferring the loan and letting the bank have the house back, or what can be done when one says basically "stuff this crap" and takes off.

I am partial to the midwest as I grew up there, but have seen so much of the US that I'd like a total change of pace. I'm thinking somewhere coastal and not overly populated.

Well I wish you luck, I'm glad you found out sooner rather than later, I also urge you to get medically checked out, hoping the wife didn't give you any other unexpected "surprises". I hope you get a good attorney and she gets little or nothing.

I have read the whole post tyvm, I still don't see why she represents all or the majority of women. From my own personal experience I've heard of far more men cheating than women, that being said I wouldn't be unfair enough to tar all men with that one brush

I cheated on a girlfriend in high school once. Then again, that may be what the point of high school is, to see how much forbidden sex you can have.

At any rate, eh, back to google. I figure I'll have all the relevant information I need in about 24 hours, and anything I don't get by that time, I can wing it when I get to wherever I am going.

Does anyone have any input on the following areas in early Spring (what is life like there at that time)

Northern California
Atlanta, GA to Brunswick, GA - some point along that path
Seattle, WA
New York, New York
or Brownsville, TX.

I'm hoping for personal information on those areas. I can get the statistics and general fodder online.

I don't see anything too incredible about it other than for my personal stance in the matter. If a person decides to cheat on their spouse just because they're gone a lot, there's no real leap in logic (other than to speculate as to just how big of an asshole someone has to be) to concede six more affairs.

My father told me a long, long time ago that with a cheating spouse it's not the one you know about that you should worry. It's the ten you don't. He was of the impression that most people can conceal most of their dirty laundry pretty well. Therefore, if the spouse had one affair, it's only the one they screwed up the concealment bit that you found out about. The other ten are still waiting in the wings.

By the way, you're extremely bad at spotting the newbie players. I've read some of your previous replies in other threads, and you seem oblivious to the reality that on the internet, nobody knows you're really a 53 year old fat gay man trying to score some jerkoff material. They're always really hot big boobed blondes, right? I'm not sure you're the guy to be watching for the "not real" distinction.
