There is now some alarming news about an antibiotic resistant staph infection called MRSA. It's been going around but getting more serious.

According to a new study, it’s spreading at a much faster rate than expected. Read at work last night that, a four-year-old from New Hampshire and a 16-year-old from Virginia both died this week from the illness.

MRSA comes from bacteria many of us carry under our fingernails.......(wash your hands!!) I cant tell you how many times I wash my hands when Im at work consistently.

If you see someone that looks like they have a "spider bite" 9/10 its staph and/or possibly the MRSA staph. Be very careful

doctors have over prescribed antibiotics for things like the commen cold, that and the fact people don't always finish their antibiotics when they start feeling a little better has made things worse buy making diseases more resistent/immune to antibiotics.;)

MRSA has become fairly common in hospitals here in Ireland and the Uk too.Its pretty dangerous and easily spread and people have died from getting dressed wounds infected by it.Its spread has been put down to among several different contributing factors such as a lower standard of cleaning through employing contractors to clean hospitals, doctors and nurses not scrubbing up properly between treating different patients and a resistance of the MRSA bug to Antibiotics.
