Time for another exercise challenge!!! Tons of Summertime temptations abound, so let's kick it into gear and get moving!!! The weather is perfect to get in lots of minutes swimming or some nice, relaxing walks on the beach. Whether your a newbie to exercise or an exercise pro, all levels of fitness are welcome!!!

You will be unable to edit your original post after a certain period of time. You can just add your new minutes in a new post and I will merge the posts. Please do not quote your original post in subsequent posts...it makes for more work. I will work on getting the permissions changed so you can edit your own posts.

Goal: 2500 minutes
Total: 2300 minutes


1 - 35 minutes at the gym + 5 minutes marching in place + 70 minutes at the gym
2 - Rest Day.

3 - 15 minutes sweeping/vacuuming at work
4 - 5 minutes marching in place + 20 minutes walking
5 - 60 minutes DanceFit Class + 5 minutes marching in place + 95 minutes at the gym
6 - 35 minutes at the gym + 5 minutes marching in place + 70 minutes at the gym
7 - 5 minutes marching in place + 5 minutes jogging in place to wake up (LOL)
8 - 100 minutes at the gym
9 - 5 minutes marching in place

10 - 60 minutes pushing around 100 plus pounds of groceries + 30 minutes washing the dog + 70 minutes at the gym
11 - 35 minutes at the gym + 5 minutes marching in place + 70 minutes at the gym
12 - Rest Day.
13 - 20 minutes cleaning + 5 minutes marching in place + 80 minutes at the gym
14 - 35 minutes at the gym
15 - 35 minutes at the gym + 5 minutes marching in place + 70 minutes at the gym
16 - 5 minutes marching in place

17 - 5 minutes marching in place + 30 minutes cleaning the fridge at work + 15 minutes sweeping/vacuuming at work
18 - 30 minutes mowing the lawn + 85 minutes at the gym
19 - 5 minutes marching in place + 60 minutes DanceFit Class + 60 minutes at the gym
20 - 5 minutes marching in place + 60 minutes using exercise ball + 60 minutes at the gym
21 - Rest Day
22 - 60 minutes DanceFit Class + 5 minutes marching in place
23 - 5 minutes marching in place + 56 minutes Jog for Johnny 5K

24 - 25 minutes fighting the dog in order to give her a bath (LOL) + 5 minutes marching in place + 80 minutes at the gym
25 - 5 minutes marching in place + 60 minutes on the exercise ball + 80 minutes at the gym
26 - 5 minutes marching in place + 90 minutes on the exercise ball
27 - 5 minutes marching in place
28 - 5 minutes marching in place + 120 minutes GSAR training
29 - 5 minutes marching in place + 80 minutes at the gym
30 - 5 minutes marching in place (Sick...yuck!!!)

31 - 45 minutes cleaning the fridge at work (YUCK!!!) + 84 minutes at the gym (just couldn't let it be an uneven number like that, LOL)

I am an utter failure at exercise, I just can't seem to make it a priority, here's to hoping I get it this month!

1- Nothing

5- 10 minutes of stairs so far, phew! Planning on 30 minutes of yoga tonight, with NO excuses. *did it!!*
6- Planning 30 minutes of yoga tonight

14- I plan to do 60 minutes today, no excuses!

I'm going to pre-determine my exercise for the weekend so I feel guilted into doing it!

Ok i know the month started but if i can keep up on what i want until this month finish will be great

my goal is an hour walk on treadmill 5 days a week
but will be seperated in 3 times a day for 20 minutes each ..and will be 5.5 kph to 6 .....one incline

thats my goal for now

this week is short because i started on wednesday but if i can last untill the month finish damn happy
usually i last 3 to 4 days:D


not an hours this two days but i thought it today...so not included on the goal but still some exercise:ninja

ok


20 - 22 minutes treadmill 5.5 kph ...one incline
21 - 20 minutes treadmill 5.5 kph ...one incline
22 - 7am 20 minutes treadmill, 10:30am 20 minutes treadmill, 4:50pm 20 minutes treadmill all in 5.5 kph .1 incline
23 - Break
24 - Break
25 - 8:30am 30 minutes treadmill, 2:50pm 30 minutes treadmill all in 5.5 kph .1 incline
26 - 11:10am 30 minutes treadmill, 3:45pm 30 minutes treadmill all in 5.5 kph .1 incline
27 - 10:30am 30 minutes treadmill, 3:55pm 30 minutes treadmill all in 5.5 kph .1 incline
28 - 10:50am 30 minutes treadmill, 5:30pm 30 minutes treadmill all in 5.5 kph .1 incline
29 - 11:30am 30 minutes treadmill, 6:10pm 30 minutes treadmill all in 5.5 kph .1 incline

Guess it's just me and you this month, Panacea. Booooo, slackers!!!
I'm sorry. :( My vacation shot my workout schedule to pieces this month so I didn't bother setting a goal. I probably won't be in August's challenge either because I'm working two shows and I'll be gone half the month again. :rolleyes: I'll be back in September. :D

I've been SUCH a slacker this month. And today I actually got up to go to the gym and I got caught up in traffic from a 4 car pile-up. Not a good sign when you pull onto the road and 2 cop cars pull in behind you and block the road off. EEK!!! Not making my goal this month...booooo!!!

Yep! I think a goal amount of time should be set but I never do that because I wouldn't know where to start lol.
