Dude...that show was on in the early 70's! But then again you are a SW fan and that was made before you were born, so not surprising you would know.

My sister watched it. I was small. It scared me.

I think they re-ran it in the 80's? Or sometime...... I know it's been out since I've been an adult but was too busy to watch it.

I can't say the same. I hate him as:

Jack Sparrow and Hunter S. Thompson.

However, he was pretty amazing as Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and a number of other characters.

The first time I saw that trailer (a few weeks ago I think) I thought it looked horrible, but on second glance it looks fun enough. I do like Johnny Depp a lot.

From the looks of it they're not trying to really do Dark Shadows itself, but a loose spin-off. Loved the original show, even the nineties remake, except they really didn't go any further with the remake than with the original.

I don't usually like vampire movies (Blade being one exception) but this looks rather interesting. I might have to check it out when it comes to theaters.
