Well today was the first decent day at work I've had in a long time. My asst. Mgr. was actually friendly with me again, but I still have major reservations about staying there. About 5 mins after I went in to work David's Bridal called me, and I didn't get the message until I got off tonight because I don't keep my phone on my body while I'm working. They called me and wanted me to come in and interview tonight, but that didn't work out since they were closed already when I got the message. She said that if she didn't hear from me tonight she'd follow up with me and get me in to interview tuesday when I'm off. So yay for them calling me back so fast, I'm excited I finally might get a job where my work is appreciated. :D

So I was not going to give my notice yet...but after being chewed out to tears TWICE in the first 3 hours I was at work, I decided it was definitely time to put in my notice. I told my manager, and when I confronted her, I didn't tell her that SHE was part of the problem I was having...I made it seem like it was only the other manager, which was my mistake, but you guys do NOT understand how intimidating this woman is...anyways. She told me that she wanted me to stay, and that she would take care of the issues I was having with the other lady. Then less than 2 mins later the Asst. Mgr. comes up to me and wishes to speak with me, and tells me she wants to go outside to talk to me. So we go outside the store, and she starts asking me why I am lying, and why I am making her look like the bad guy. I told her because I think she's horribly rude to me and the customers, and that I am not ok with lying for her like she had asked me to do yesterday over a certain incident with a customer. She then started yelling at me and pointing her finger less than an inch from my face, and she had me in tears. WOW, definitely NOT a way to get me to want to stay at my job....then she told me I'm not allowed to talk to the other girl we hired, because I'd "plant bad ideas in her head". I went straight up to the other girl, and told her im leaving...the asst. manager went and chewed her out, and she said she wanted to come too. So we walked out on our jobs. I dont do shit like that, but I REFUSE to be blatantly harrassed. Not to mention the fact that after she yelled at me the asst. mgr. had her husband come up to the store and stare me down and follow me around the store. I am about to write corporate an email. Fuck that place!

Seriously *pats Clare on the back* I've walked out on one job, and I wasn't treated nearly as bad as you were. Good job on standing up for yourself by screwing them.

the funniest part was that we actually ran out because we didnt want to have to confront their asses. And then we drove off and met at starbucks. Then they called both our phones wondering what time we were gonna come back! HAHA
