Jean vs Magneto.

In Xmen2 where the F16s fire a couple of sparrows at the Xmens' jet and it starts to force them towards the ground, near 1300 ft, Storm asks Jeans if she's controlling the jet forcing it downward and as it turns out, its Magneto controlling the metal in the jet closer to him.

Now lets say, Jean was using her powers to keep the jet in the air. Who do you think would win that tug of war?

I would say Jean is the more 'powerful' mutant, but isn't as skillfull with her powers.

Remember Jean doesn't become the Pheonix until Xmen 3, aka the 'stage 5' ultimate mutant who can control anything at anytime, anywhere.

She's like a Gateway, hit or miss. Some movies she is hot as hell in and then others, just so-so. :dunno:

Well, when it comes down to Jean and Magneto. Its Magneto all day. He has more control of his powers. Pulling a skyscraper from the ground is as easy as jackin off to that man. Ever see Jean try to hold up a brick wall or something? I.....cant....hold it....much...longer....


But between Magneto and Phenix. Well, that goes without saying.

But in the same movie, Jean forces the water flooding out of the dam around the jet. Forces the jet to power up and take off AND uses her ability to keep Nightcrawler from teleporting out to grab her.

Yeah, because her friends lives are on the line. If you remember in the cartoon and comics, there would be times that Jean could go above and beyond, but thats only when her emotions motivated her to. Magneto has complete control while sad, mad, happy or horny.

Magneto wins until she goes Phoenix then obviously (as seen in X3) Phoenix handles him.

yeah, until you realize that the rest of X3 isnt worth the time required to watch it. It's seriously one of the worst movies ever made, ever. And this is coming from probably the biggest comic nerd on these forums...
