Jade Goody play to be performed at home of Shakespeare

A PLAY inspired by the life of the late reality TV star and former Harlow resident Jade Goody is to be performed at the home of Shakespearean theatre.

Playwright Chris Hannan had the former Upshire resident in mind when he penned The God of Soho.
The play features a fictional reality TV star living in Essex who fears exposure in the tabloid press after fetish items are stolen from her home.
It will conclude the Globe Theatre’s Word of God Season in September.
The theatre on the banks of the River Thames is a faithful recreation of the 16th-century venue where William Shakespeare worked and where his famous plays can still be seen.
Former Big Brother contestant Jade lost her battle with cancer at her home in Pick Hill in March 2009.

OH GOD I love you, this is exactly what I thought about the whole thing too. Everyone made a huge deal about her being a racist chav, and then bam, she gets cancer and all of a sudden people are falling over themselves to be nice about her.

Being sick doesn't make you a good person.

Just be grateful you never had her living in your town. A mates dad gave her driving lessons and said she was the worst driver he had ever taught in his 30 years teaching. She moved out of my town shortly after she got caught shop lifting in ASDA (Walmart to you Americans). Classy!
