And short tempered and somewhat cold towards a few people lately.
I apologize. I don't know it if will stop
I'm 6 days sober. No weed. No booze. And I have no idea how to cope with stress

Tis tough, I know. A lot of people say I'm chilled out most of the time, and it's because I blow off steam whenever possible.

When I quit smoking, and wasn't drinking, I liked to watch a film, favourite Simpsons\KOTH\South Park episodes, or play video games. It's a good way to relax and keep your mind occupied.

Writing lyrics is usually my therapy but then I'm usually zoned
Now instead my mind won't slow down and everything I hear or read sounds like
A loud distraction or a bitch and complain or an obstacle
Its as if the world moves faster rather than taking its time
An hour feels like a minute and some days feel like they won't end
And then it does end
And then you repeat the same bullshit again
And then you die

And when you feel like you've accomplished everything you've set to do
The one person who it should matter to is myself
But I hate what I see in my sober mind
I see no accomplishments. I hate my music
I hate what I strive to be.
I hate my lust for the limelight and my love of fame.
I could give two shits about money and wealth
But in order to survive its dog eat dog
And no one lends a helping hand if they don't know you
So then I zone. But I can't
So I feel helpless

Wyndex - congrats on your sobriety! Addictions are a pain in the arse to give up, but just making the attempt to do so is a major step in the right direction! Keep up the good work!

Get outside and get some physical exercise. Fresh air and a good sweat will help your body adjust to the lack of chemicals.

I never did any drugs or smoked weed, and I don't drink any alcohol, but I've learned a lot while trying to help people with some illnesses and addictions in a forum I was moderating..
I commend you for your efforts.. Keep taking it one day at a time, with tiny little steps, and you will succeed.
Fresh air and exercise is very important to reduce the stress..
Try doing things in the opposite way to what you are used to.. we get into a daily routine, and it's hard to break it, but it can be done.
