Starting something new can feel awkward socially. Do you prefer learning alone first? What helped you push past beginner discomfort? How do you decide whether a new interest is worth continuing?

It can go both ways. Trying a hobby alone lets you explore at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. With others, you get guidance, motivation, and social interaction, but expectations or skill gaps can feel intimidating. Personal preference often decides which works best.

I think this depends person to person. As far as I am concerned, it is easier for me if I do alone.
