Eco-friendly products often cost more, making sustainability harder for many people. Should sustainable options be made more affordable? Who should bear the cost?

Sustainable living can be more expensive upfront, with costs for eco-friendly products, energy-efficient appliances, or organic food. While long-term savings and environmental benefits exist, higher initial costs make it harder for average households. Wider adoption may require subsidies, incentives, or affordable sustainable options.

Sustainable living isn't expensive, all you have to do is to tweak your existing lifestyle. For instance, you can stop using single use plastic bag, you can manage your organic waste at your house, uycycle and recycle things, etc.
