Eco-friendly products, organic food, and clean energy often cost more upfront. For many households, sustainability feels like a privilege rather than a choice. Should environmental responsibility depend on income? How can sustainability be made affordable without lowering standards?

Many sustainable products or energy solutions have higher upfront costs, which can be a barrier for average families. Over time, savings may offset expenses, but initial affordability remains a challenge, making accessibility and incentives critical for widespread adoption.

I looked at the prices of those “eco” detergents last week and I almost laughed. The prices are increasing. Everybody wants to save the planet but the basic needs like rent, food, fuel may not allow you. Sometimes sustainable living feels like a luxury.

Sustainable living isn't expensive, in fact it reduces your life style costs. For instance, you convert organic waste to compost and you can either use in in your garden or sell it. You also reduce energy and you save money. These are just a few examples
