LEESBURG, Fla. - Two weeks after telling police that her son had been snatched from his crib, Melinda Duckett found herself reeling in an interview with CNN’s famously prosecutorial Nancy Grace. Before it was over, Grace was pounding her desk and loudly demanding to know: “Where were you? Why aren’t you telling us where you were that day?”
A day after the taping, Duckett, 21, shot herself to death, deepening the mystery of what happened to the boy.
Police have refused to say whether she left a suicide note and said nothing they have found so far in their investigation of her death has shed light on the whereabouts of her 2-year-old son, Trenton.

Nancy Grace

Many think Nancy Grace drove the young Already distraught mother to kill herself, Some say it was the guilt of knowing what she had done that caused it. What do you Think??

Well, I don't know if she is Guilty,

Hypathetically however, Say she is not Guilty of her childs dissaperance,

Just the Guilt alone, That you Should have somehow prevented this from happening, And then you go on a show, a plea to help find your child, and to have that person, crudly attack you and blame you, (and mind you, nancy was only assuming this women's guilt)
Your already devastated over having lost your Child, which I am sure many can agree, You have just lost your whole life, And here is someone, Nationally, Accusing you.

I think perhaps in this case, The Media is partly to blame, That would be alot for a single mother to go through, with everything else she was already experiancing.

Now mind you, I am not saying she did not do it, That has yet to be proven, But to coax this women on to national TV. with the promise of help, and then to attack her mindlessly and without evidence, just to score points.. Yeah I think that is pretty harsh.

True, but any parent that isn't guilty would want to put her child before herself. It seems to me that she would want to see her child safely home, not put a gun to her own head. That tells me that either a) she was guilty of some type of foul play, or b) she didn't care one bit about her child. If I were to put myself in her shoes I would be more concerned about finding out what happened to my child, and not giving a damn what the media was accusing me of. Regardless of what this Nancy lady was saying, in this country we enjoy the fact that anyone accused of a crime is innocent until proven guilty. If she was innocent then she would have had nothing to hide, and, therefore, no reason to kill herself.
Guilty... and weak.
At the same time however, what Nancy was doing was wrong. She is a journalist, not a trial Judge.

that is not necessarily true...that is what you would think, but people are known to lose hope. The mother was probably already so depressed that she just couldn't deal with the accusations, and she figured that theyd never find her kid since they thought she did it...so she killed herself. Depression warps people's views and suicide is a selfish act no matter which way you look at it. Not saying that IS what happened but don't rule it out as a possibility.

I didnt see it. Nancy Grace is Hard... BUT, she put up with alot in her lifetime. Her fiance was murdered, which is why she got into her line of work.

What happened to the 2 year old?

What happened to the 2 year old?

The 2year old was kidnapped from its bed, The mother sais she finished watching a movie, went to check on the baby and it was gone, and there was a ten inch slash in the screen of the window in the baby's room.

She is in the middle of a divorce, and the husband has also been questioned.

The biggest problem now is, With the mother Dead, And if she did do it, Now there is even less hope of them ever finding this child.
