Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine emphasized gut balance and circadian eating centuries ago. Are modern diet trends like circadian rhythm fasting and microbiome diets just rediscoveries of old truths?

I am a Hindu and in Hinduism it is forbidden to eat after sunset. There have been a lot of research that this is a healthy eating habit. I think modern science is finally catching up with ancient diet wisdom
