Parents love kids unconditionally but that is not always the case. So, sometimes you might want to walk off. Well, walking away from a toxic parent is a difficult choice. Have you ever had to distance yourself from a parent for your well-being? How do you handle the emotional burden and societal pressure to "honor" family ties? Do you think it is necessary to cut off from a toxic parent?

Toxicity could demoralize, it could damage and could kill so in my opinion, I'd suggest you learn to stay away from a toxic parent. Don't use any sentiment to deal with any toxic person in your life. Avoid a toxic parent completely so you wouldn't fall a victim of depression

Yes, cutting off a toxic parent is okay if the relationship harms your well-being. Setting boundaries isn’t easy, but sometimes, distance is necessary for emotional health. Healing takes time, and guilt may linger, but prioritizing your peace and mental stability is a valid and important choice.

People should put their well-being at the forefront even if it requires cutting off connections with toxic parents. Long-term emotional abuse and manipulative behavior can lead to significant impacts on a person. Establishing limits or cutting familial relationships can free you from this..

Absolutely it's okay to cut off any toxic family members, parents included. If they can't get the help they need and see that they're actively causing you trouble then why give them the benefit of the doubt and talk to them if they only cause you pain? Just because they brought you into this world doesn't mean they deserve for you to be in their life if they gave you hell.
