If you consider that there have been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theater operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000. The rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in our Nation's Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: We should immediately pull out of Washington D.C. :lol

Ah I hope not, yes I know it's dangerous and unfortunately many have lost their lives serving our country. I am proud and sympathetic for those how have or are serving there now.

you also gotta put with the deaths...
you have been pulled away form your home away from everybody/thing you know and love

put in a shity shity country where alot of ppl want you out of there now and the majority of those ppl just want to kill you...

remember that the ppl tehy are fighting think they are fighting a holy war so they think if they kill you and die themselves they go striaght to heaven..
this gives them a metal advantage theoricially because that means the ones our soliders gotta worry about dont fear death and will go to whatever means nessesary to take out a few guys.

think if you were taken away from your secure enviroment surrounded by loved ones in a beutiful country thrown into an enviroment taht was in no way safe for you surrounded by alot of ppl who in that crownd may be somebody willing to die just to take your life..

According to the email, there have been 2112 deaths in 22 months.
Average US soldier population in Iraq was 160,000
2112 / 1.6 = 1320 deaths per 100,000
1320 deaths / 22 months = 60 deaths per MONTH per 100,000

DC has had 188 murders so far this year, 11 months. Facts
Population of D.C. is around 550,000 Facts
188 deaths / 5.5 = 33.1 deaths per 100,000
33.1 deaths / 11 months = 3 deaths per MONTH per 100,000

So take your pick:
D.C. = 3 people killed per MONTH for every 100,000
Iraq = 60 soldiers killed per MONTH for every 100,000 (or 2 per DAY
for every 100,000!!!)

Regardless of any facts. I don't want to see any of our men and women lose their lives. Here or overseas. Lets hope they keep themselves safe and get them home as soon as the job is done.
