Sometimes anger means we’re deeply invested in something. Have you noticed that your strongest frustrations often come from things you value most?

I think that is true. Whenever we are frustrated or angry, it is usually when we are too much involved into it. If your expectations aren't met, you are frustrated or angry

Yes, I’ve noticed that. When something or someone matters to me, I tend to react more strongly. Anger usually shows that I care deeply, about fairness, respect, or personal boundaries. It’s not always negative; it just needs to be channeled constructively.

Frustration could be a sign of caring too much. This depends on the context. I cared too much about my so-called girlfriend who betrayed me for money. She was a real bitch and a bloody goldigger. Even today I feel angry when I think about that bitch. In this case frustration is not a sign of caring about a stupid idiot who betrays you.
