Is emotional resilience something people are born with or can it be developed over time?

Some people handle stress better than others. Is resilience natural, or can it be built through experience and practice?

I think it is mostly inborn. If that wasn't true how are kids from the same parents have different temperament. However, I also believe it can be developed with various practices.

I believe emotional resilience can be developed over time. Some people may naturally handle stress better, but experiences, support systems, reflection, and coping strategies strengthen resilience. Practicing self-awareness, problem-solving, and emotional regulation helps people adapt to challenges more effectively.
