I have to switch internet companies and go from cable internet to DSL through AT&T. They only offer 3.0 mbps in my area. How slow is that going to be and will I have problems loading pages on sites like here and FB and watching Youtube videos? And how about uploading pictures to FB and videos to Youtube? Will it be real slow going for that too? Does anyone know? They don't offer their highest speed with is 6.0 mbps here or else I would have gotten that. :( Any help in giving me information about this would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly 3mbs is fine for stuff like positing on here, going on FB, YT etc. I mean I'm on like 2.5mbs and I cope absolutely fine.

3mbs is sufficient for most things, you shouldn't have much of a problem with that. Here in Spain we only recently had 6mbs introduced, previously we've been on 2mbs and it's been fine.

That sort of speed must surely confuse and dazzle most sleepy Spaniards. :surrender
