Firefox is OK but it keeps not responding (and I have to restart it -_-) and it annoys me so much. IE doesn't do that.

but there's something wrong with IE. or at least my computer. every time I try to open it up, it doesn't respond and it just vanishes.

Just wondering if you have updated FireFox to the latest version 5.5.5? Go to help and click on check for updates. That will tell you. You might also want to run an antivirus scan.

I hated Firefox in the beginning. Then I used it for websites that worked best on Firefox. Then IE started acted weird. so I completely switched to Firefox. now IE doesn't even work for me anymore. -_-

I use chrome for things that don't need IE. If IE is broken maybe try doing a windows update, especially if you don't have IE8, that will download it for you and ask you to install it as an update. I chose not to, since IE7 works fine for me.

If that still doesn't help, check to see if there are any extra toolbars installed, like Google toolbar or anything, sometimes those can cause IE and Firefox to crash. Hope that helps.
