I think there is probably intelligent life on other planets. ... As to the hotness of their males though, I'll have to leave the speculation to you. :)

No, I don't think there would be intelligent life in outer space. Mainly since its unintelligible to live in outer space.

I do think there would be intelligent life on other planets, however. :p

I doubt that there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. There are many reasons but the most basic one is that intelligence is ultimately self destructive. As a species man has been on this planet for less than 3 million years & I doubt we will last for much more (yes, a very pessimistic view). There have been species of large animals on this planet that have lasted for tens & even hundreds of millions of years - none of them intelligent. (In this instance intelligence is the ability to alter the world around you instead of adapting to it)

There are species of smaller animals, bacteria... etc that have been around for billions of years & that can survive in the harshest of environments - these are the sorts of life that will probably abound in the universe.

That assumption is based on only one example, us. The universe is so vast that there could be billions of civilizations out there. Just because we are violent and destructive does not mean that would be the norm elsewhere.

That is true, but when compared to the vast numbers of species that have lived successfully over the eons, I'll stand by it a little longer - I am, of course, quite willing to alter my viewpoint once we come across a smart long-lived intelligent species.
