well in his defence alot of cancer patients use it. its legal for them but need some kind of thing to carry around i believe.

Well, that's what confuses me. If it's all the stuff in cigarettes and that kind of stuff that causes lung cancer, why go and smoke more of that stuff? You're just putting more in your body, right?

i dont know. i dont do any kinds of drugs but Pot has been proven that infact does NOT cause lung cancer like they thought it did before.

if reefer causes cancer, why aren't there thousands of reports of lung cancer causes by it? it's not even an argument the national drug control office uses. WEED DOESNT CAUSE CANCER. and you're not a doctor, so shut up.

another relief manager that i work with has breast cancer and yesterday she just had a second surgery. i'm not too familiar with cancer at all, but i know chemo really tears a person up and its going to be hard. sorry to hear though.

Anywho, there is this new thing called photodynamic therapy, which is a Laser light therapy that offers breathing relief for cancer patients. Select patients whose breathing has been impaired by lung or esophageal cancer will be eligible for the treatment. You might see if she knows anything about this. :dunno

Just an update......they are going to treat the cancer in her bones for 10 consecutive days then re-evaluate its status, her chemo is going to take place every 21 days, 5 hr sessions each time, 3 total sessions, then another re-evaluation.......now her doctors are talking about experimental options, they've brought up something called TomoTherapy, which of course I've started researching, I really appreciate all of you, we really got some fantastic people here!!!!!!

Good luck - I really hope it works out for you & your friend. A few years ago my mother was diagnosed with Leukemia & she is now in remission, after treatment.
