At times it does.. for hours... other times like today my phone has been mostly silent.

Just happened to see a spider viewing this thread...I missed it when it was posted.

It goes in spells for me. Sometimes I'll have 3000 or more texts in a week...sometimes I barely have that in a month. *shrugs* I have had days w/ 400 plus texts between just me and 1 person as well.

Lately my phone has been pretty silent...except for last night (*cough*Jeremy*cough*). :tooth

Same here. I talk on the phone 12 hours a day for a living. The LAST thing I want to do when I go home is spend MORE time on the phone.

I still spell everything properly. The first time my nephew asked me "WRUD?" I had to ask him what that meant (What Are You Doing, by the way, LOL). The only time my texts have "text speak" in them is when I use my voice to text feature...it automatically does it. Boo!!!

We text among the 4 of us. My wife and 2 kids. I am the least texter of the bunch. My son has had over 20000 in a month when we were still paying for texting. Unlimited texting has made it better.

I dont use text shorthand. I spell everything properly people are amazed how quick I fire replies out.

Id rather text than talk on the phone and the only reason I use text speak on some things is so I can fit it all on one page because Im long winded lol. Nothing I hate more than having to start another page because it wont all fit in one reply!!

Same here. My problem is that I'll get like 4 texts at once and I'll respond to one person, fully intending to respond to the other 3 as well, and then 2 days later I realize "oh fuck, I never responded to that!!!" :24: Okay, that's an exaggeration (for the most part)...but it DOES happen, LOL
