I was just talking to my mom and she said it was 46 years ago today my father proposed, which made me smile, I adore my parents and I love knowing stuff like that, oddly, I didn't know it until now.

Anway....

How are you at remembering dates? I'm good with birthdays for my immediate family and close friends...that's about it.

Do you send cards to mark the day?

I am awful at remember date. That is what a wife is for. I know Wife, Son and Daughters birthdays. Then the date of my wedding. The rest is up to her. She makes cards though. So she enjoys it.

I have the unfortunate knack for remembering when my parents both passed as well as my Grandmother...and my anniversary is easy enough (a day after my birthday)

I'm good at remembering important dates for the most part. I also Remember dates that used to be important, but aren't anymore... I just try to pretend that they don't exist until the day is over.

I'm good w/ remembering dates. I put them in the calendar on my phone, too, just in case my memory fails. For instance, I have a friend who was robbed on April 15th several years ago now. Every year she has trouble dealing w/ it, so for years I would take her out to dinner on April 15th just so she had something to take her mind off of it. She's married now and, unfortunately, we've lost touch, but I still think about it every year.

I remember the birthdays of friends from preschool that I have seen in 10+ years without the help of facebook.
So...I remember even UNimportant dates lol

I'm not very good at dates at all. No real head for them :) I know my own birthday, for everything else I try and put it down on a calendar and then hope I look at the calendar.

im a stickler for writing EVERYTHING thats happened on the calendar! needless to say, im quite good at remembering everything! i also have an obsession to keep calendars. i had quite a collection every year since '98, then Ike flooded us and i lost them all :( but i bring everything over from one calendar to the next. not just important dates (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) but the fluff stuff like how long its been since we went on a particular vacation, when we got something, when someone did something, etc. im a very detailed oriented person!

Aww, thanks Flo. :) I try to be a good friend...I've been lucky enough to make some really great friends over the years. Doesn't seem fair not to return the favor to others. ;)
