This is not in the debate section for a reason and transcends Offtopicz.com. I see it on Facebook too, daily. Enough is enough. Believe what the fuck you want to believe and shut the fuck up about it already. Having threads with 15 pages and feeds that go on for what seems response after respond by people who try to shove views down your throat is futile. I'm sick of it. I'd rather post this on here than on Facebook. Well because I'd rather piss off total strangers than people I may consider real life acquaintances. :ninja

If it's on Facebook, it's kind of out there in front of you on the open feed. Sometimes you can't help but read. It's not like a forum where you have to click the link to enter the thread.

Unless they are friends that post about other things that you DO want to read, you can limit what shows up on your feed from individual people you have the option of everything, most things and only the important things.

Maybe try that, so you don't lose any hair over it haha

So let me get this straight.

Darrell worked his a$$ off to make a special button so people could avoid P&D as to not see Religion and Government and someone Who will remain namesless had to put a bitch thread with those two words in the Subject Title in General Discussion.... For crying out loud.. :24: Can someone bitch slap him... :p

I agree, but how many have read party platforms ? Not just the party they think they want to vote for but the opposition party trying to keep an open mind ?

How many people attend candidates debates ?

How many research their candidates ? Gezz half the parties don't even screen them properly..

How many get past the press opinions of parties and attack ads ?

How many have even been involved in the grassroots level of a political party where a Candidate is really chosen before anyone really even gets to form an opinion on them ?

And last but not least how many even vote on the big day ?

Since I was 18 I have not missed one election from municipal level upward..

It's about striking a balance. Nothing wrong with talking about politics or religion. It just gets boring hearing/reading about it all the time, like any other topic.
