As you all know I have a slight handicap and my balance is the definition of suckish. And we got the Wii for Christmas and I've been playing it with no supports (holding onto a couch ect.) and it was actually working!

My proof:

I got out of the shower and I got dressed like I normally do. As I put on what I always wear my glasses my fish necklace and my Disturbed arm band I realized for the first time since I put my shirt on that I was standing a foot away from the sink and I was completley stable!! :eek

That is Excellent news..

The Wii is great for such things.. What devices do you have with it ? Just the basics or the Wii fitness ?

It maybe well worth looking into renting ( or borrowing it if you can ) Wii fitness to see if it helps even further.. Just an idea..

I didn't know about this handi-cap Ryder, it's cool that you are gaining mobility back.

But, as a lover of all things yoga, I would definitely suggest you get yourself into a beginners yoga class... biggest help of balance. Same as dancing, but that might be a little be too hard.
