Let's say Veronica needed money for something and to get it she decided to make Offtopicz a site where you had to pay to use it. Let's say a nominal fee of.....$10 a month. Would you pay?

I think I would, there's enough here to entice me to always come back.

There are forums that show tons of ads and if you want them eliminated you simply become a " paid member " by giving them $20.00 a year. I did that for a few years until I got pissed off at the site. Now they get nothing from me. 10 bucks a month? No.... 20 bucks a year... I would be open to that.

It's the same with facebook, if they ever started charging money, I'd stop using it. The internet is fun and all, but it's not worth shelling out a subscription to just visit particular sites. I spend too much time as it is on the internet.

it'd end up costing a fortune too - think about how many sites you might frequent. For me it'd be like a dozen or so. Paying for them all would just be absurd. And damn expensive too.
