can you explain this? Why are there spiders that eat bugs but have poison to kill a full grown elephant? And what are the point of mosquitos?

Control and balance. Not all spiders eat solely tiny insects. and mosquitos carrying disease keeps populations in check.

As I said though, this dosent do that, mosqitos kill indescriminantly. Spiders do too, though you may have a point with them, it's usually the stupid who try and piss them off who get attacked, I've had a redback crawl down my arm and sat in a chair with a web oof them underneath, most spiders wont attack unless provoked apart from the Sydney Funnelweb which is a bastard which will go for anyone.

If he's perfect, how comes he has trouble rememberd Jacobs name (Gen. 32:30) even though he had met him on several occasions and sworn to "keep him safe" and to "never desert him".
When Jacob reminded God of his name, he was orderd to change it to Israel. A short time later, when Israel (as he now called himself) was at Bethel, God, seemingly forgetting their earlier conversation says "Your name is Jacob, but now you will be known as Israel" (Gen. 35:10)

Two pages later, "God spoke to Israel at night "Jacob, Jacob," he said, "i am El, god of your father" (Gen. 46:3)
