No, not really, but this guy does.

Anyway there's a point to this thread. The guy above is The Undertaker and he's pretty recognisable, even amazingly amongst non wrestling fans, but anyway it led me onto think what other wrestlers do non wrestling fans tend to recognise. I mean they might not be for wrestling reasons (some people might only recognise Hulk Hogan for being Thunderlips in Rocky).

So...got any?

I saw him in the street when I was about 8.....and I can remember I got soooooo excited

But nowadays....The Rock would be the only one...and Hulk Hogan.

I used to watch wrestling in like sixth grade. I've forgotten most of their names now. I remember John Cena, Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angel, Christ Benoit, and maybe a few others that I can't think of right now.

I remember watching Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes wrestle for an hour back in the old NWA. What a match that was, and at that tim ethey were huge celebrities. Hogan helkped to move it on in the mid 80's (pretty much making wrestling cool to watch again). I think nowadays it's uncool to watch it amongst the general populace but to be honest I'm not that bothered because I still enjoy the general product.

I mean, I don't think it's real of course (unlike this guy......)
