I went early to catch the sunrise and took a boatload of pictures. Thought I'd share a few. :D

Good photos, but the sunrise one, perhaps if you put one more stop up on the shutter speed, you would get a good exposure, just hope you have a steady hand

Saskatoon is a nice city in the summer. Lots of trees.

Thanks for the goose shot. Pelicans are cool. Manitoba had them as well. Lots of fun watching them fish. To bad I wasn't into heavy into photography when I lived there.

Magpies... I love 'em except for the noise. Them guys have to be one of the loudest birds in Canada. They specialize in waking people up.

You don't realize just how big of a wingspan pelicans have until you see them flying. Those things are HUGE! I wanted to get a flying picture but they always seemed to wait to fly past until I was not ready for whatever reason. :mad I don't go down to the river very often so I didn't realize that there are TONNES of geese here. I had to wait for several of them to use the crosswalk just before the bridge as I was driving home. :D

You bet they are big.

Welcome to the world of BIF's. It can be loaded with frustration and micro seconds of yippie.

A goose hurries for nobody. :24:

I've never explored much of Canada, only been to a few spots in Ontario and Quebec, that looks very inviting :D
Really???? You have not lived until you've been to BC! It's gorgeous out there, especially the hiking trails a couple hours north of Vancouver. Saskatoon has the river running through it and it's very pretty too, especially in summer. Plus I live there, which makes it even MORE interesting. Come see the freak show! :D
