Hello, recently my computer crashed and it was restored. I lost all the music I had in itunes on my computer. My question is this: Is there a way for me to transfer all my music that I have on my ipod back to the itunes library on my computer? They were all there before my system reset and now all I have in the library are just the songs that I purchased from itunes. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

You'd have to plug your iPod into your PC. I think. And then manually drag and drop from there to the iTunes folder.

yes there are loads of apps that will do that. Though I've got an inkling you'll be back to drop a link in there anyhow...

sorry it just wreaks of forum spamming. We get tons of posts like these in a forum I moderate, they always seem innocent, and then they come back a few days later to drop a link in. Normally as a rule if a first post is a question like this, it's gonna be spam.

Well as long as he doesn't put a link in it's fine, he's only asking for help with iTunes. If he does however the post will be edited by me or another moderator. Thanks.

Though when I first saw it I was expecting a spam thread, to be fair.

Well you have to take into consideration maybe 3/4 of the people on this board may not know how to transfer from an ipod to a comp with itunes. So do exactly what the first response said and ask Itunes. It makes sense to me. No need to get all huffy because we couldn't answer your question.

by the way, if you've purchased the songs from iTunes, you can re-download them...

is ok we dont need anymore touchy thin skinned memebrs already got enough

btw you would have done yourself a big favour if your opening post was based on a friends recommendation, rather than the way it was phrased

yep the irip did the trick! i thought i had lost it all and i was afarid that if my ipod ever went down i would never be able to recover my music. some of it was really hard to find and i didnt want to lose it. I had to pay 20 bucks for it but it was worth not losing all my music!
