Unfortunately, it is close to impossible for anyone who is not really really computer savvy. My boyfriend had figured it out, but he even had trouble after the process was done. Basically, even after you steal the music from your old laptop, the names of your songs and albums don't transfer. They will look like this "AEJ3FS-ELDJS" Thus, you then have to go through ALL of your music and relabel it. As far as I know that is the only way to do it, which is a huge inconvenience.

What I suggest is downloading a torrent program. Utorrent, or Bittorrent (both are free). From there, you can go to www.demonoid.me and download full albums completely for free (which then go to your Downloads folder). If you would like to do this, let me know and I will send you an invitation code to Demonoid. You can transfer all of the music to your itunes after. It's super fast, super easy.

Oh, that's actually quite simple! I can't remember the exact procedure, but you need to register your new computer to your iTunes account, then everything you bought through iTunes on your old PC, should be available on your new one aswell, since iTunes bought stuff is account bound. ^_^

What Mushii said. If you actually bought them they will be available for re-download. Not only that, but you can authorize up to what is it, 5 computers for purchased songs? I never purchase crap and use MJ's way of getting movies, songs, tv shows, etc.

You could try backing them up on a portable hard drive and then save them to your new computer. You can set itunes up to find all music on your computer and transfer it to itunes.

Yeah, what the others said about purchased music is right. If you log into your account your purchased music should transfer.
