I got my best friend back!

I popped in her work today while Matt was looking for something at a nearby store. We talked a bit, and after we left I told Matt I was going back in to see if she wanted to do something after work. She has her second job, but we talked some more, and I got her new number, and we have plans to do something whenever she's free. I even re-invited her back to the wedding. I'm so happy right now.

She's been crossing my mind a lot over the past few months and apparently I've been crossing hers. Things won't go back to being the way they were- main reason being we no longer live together, but I'm still excited to have my bestie back.

I think she's starting to see the light. I hope so. She really deserves better, but just as stubborn as I am, if not more, and I stuck with John for almost 4 years even though I was unhappy. It's about not wanting to fail, so I can see where she's coming from.

Sorry- I'm just very excited! I've been trying to discretely make the first move and decided to take the plunge today.

Matt and I were talking- when people have a falling out, it seems like you wait for the other person to make the first move, and they're waiting for you and it just drags on. So I'm glad I put myself out there.
