Seborrhoeic dermatitis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Right now, it is manifested in a lot of flakes; I looked under dandruff, and looked into the more "extreme" cases of it, and came across this Wikipedia article.

Previously, I had a really bad itching, and decided to shave the head. I also took pictures during and after shaving.

From the Wikipedia article:

And a picture of my head: (during mid-shave...)

I noticed that after a few days, the redness goes away.

*thinks about going "bald" again...*

actually, a t-gel shampoo will probably help. my little girl had really bad cradle cap, and her dr. recommended that for her. i believe it contains that coal tar that was mentioned in the article. neutrogena makes it, but i got the target brand for $4. neutrogena was almost $8!

looks uncomfortable... I'd see your doctor, probably an allergy to something as simple as your shampoo.
